Hey people! My real name is Paul Ray. well... i'm a 6ft tall male, (hopefully that's obvious!) and I'm originally from Birmingham. Moved to Shifnal when I was just 4 but still go to B'ham regularly to visit relatives.
Most people would think of me as a "Rocker/Mosher", which for the most part is true, and I am proud of that fact, but it's not all I am. I don't like something simply because it's "rock". I like something when I like it, and that's all there is to it.
About My Pet(s): Pet wish... I used to have Rats, but, unfortunatly, they have all passed away now :( And I don't have the time to look after anymore at the minute.
I do however have 2 African Land Snails called Fred and George, lol.
I enjoy hanging out with my mates up town, or watching a film with them. I also like doing some things on my own such as online gaming and listening to music, as well as practicing guitar and bass. I can also play the Steel Pans, the Drums and the Keyboard/ Piano. I used to be the leader of the Steel Pan group, but because of the Head of Music's attitude to the dept. and her methods of teaching/ governing session 6, I felt that I couldn't carry on with it.
I used to be an Explorer Scout, but I now work at the Co-Op when the meetings are on so I only rarely go to Camps. Shame really. I used to enjoy it, and I used to enjoy being an assistant leader to the Scouts and the Beaver Scouts. I remember building a bridge out of an oak tree we felled...and all the fun we had at Stanley Hall just messing about on 20 odd acres of land...it was great!
I'm also interested in Computers kind of part time, and I fix them for a few people I know. I learn through what I can research, and by experimenting on and old PC every now and again before attempting it on my newer one.
Adventure Sports...I love them! I used to do ALL sorts when I was an Explorer. Rock Climbing, Abseiling, Caving, Kayaking, Canoeing, Orientering, Pionering, Gorge Walking, the Burn Run (very cold, and quite painful! But a good feeling when you get to the end!), etc.... I wish I had the time and money to do them again now. Maybe one day...
Movies
Horrors, Comedies, Sci-Fi...i'm a varied person! I like Action, but then again...i like detailed and clever story lines... I like humour, but i like serious films as well! Basically, if a film is well done, i'll prob like it!
TV
Like my films, i like a varity! I can watch Soaps, but i prefer shows such as CSI. I also like Have I Got News For You, and other quiz shows such as Nevermind The Buzzcocks! Truth is, nowadays, I don't get enough time in the day to watch TV! But if something interests me when i'm browsing the channels, I watch it!

Books
I like fantasy books, and books that are interesting. Ive read all of the Discworld Novels! They were V gd books! Im currently reading all the little books that extend off that series (The Discworld Companion, Science of the Discworld, etc...), and i shud really find something else to read now, as im having trouble finding discworld stuff. Ive read all the Harry Potter Books too, all 6! Ive also read the Dark Materials Triology by Philip Pullman, and the ENTIRE Lord of the Rings series, 7 books! That's the 3 volumes plus the appendices! Read that in 4 days on holiday, as i was amazingly bored! I like books of interesting fact sometimes. If im looking at a fact book for some research for homework i find that i sometimes end up reading differant little articles and find it difficult to get back on task!
