My name is Samuel Hopp -also known as Sammy Hope! Born July 29th 1983 in the small town of Lewisburg Pennsylvania I am now 24 yrs.old and a father of 2 beautiful daughters Jerika an Kaylee Hopp n a step-son Lucas Garman, which play a huge role in my life along with my music there my everything. I got introduced to hip-hop through my friends when i was about 12 yrs.old....I grew up listening to Spice 1, Tupac Shakur, BoneThugs-N-Harmony, Notorious B.I.G, Big Pun all the ones that made rap/hip-hop what it is today. Then Eminem came out. Every white kid around wanted to be just like him - dye there hair blonde an be a back pack rapper - not me I came with my own style. At first I doubted myself fearing my type of music wouldn't touch or grab the listener's ear but i kept at it. I was told at one point to quit making music that i sucked at it an i wont go no where - more fuel for the fire i loved the hate an fennesed my style till i perfected it. The haters moved me to do so. I loved every minute of it. As i grew as a person, I grew as n artist.
Influenced by anger, love, hate, an life's struggles seen my mother an father split up, my father passing away, mother moving to Florida i felt very distant an alone. As time moved on i started getting better and better, my mind expanding, my lyrics and flow starting to combine as one sweet vibe like 808's riding the beat. Here I am today doing what i do best and figuring out that music is a good way to vent my energy. And i hope you feel my pain an happiness, my struggles an my success, my trial an tribulations in every verse, every bar, every lyric of every song past, present and future. I'm ready to be the next big thing. My head on my shoulders right and my chest puffed out for what ever happens from here on out.
